I am so excited to be working in Mental Health for the global workers all around the world who are sharing Love and Truth.
I grew up in the world of global workers and have had an adventurous heart for different cultures and peoples from very early on. I studied International Business at CU Denver and was very involved with local activism in my community in Denver. I ended up in India, spending time in refugee communities in the overcrowded stations and towns of Kolkata. Being exposed to the depths of the spiritual, physical and emotional depravity, I was determined to fight for justice. Soon after I spent some time in South America with the indigenous populations and fell in love with the Latino culture.
Fueled by a fight to change the world, I started preparing for Law School when God called me instead into a masters degree in Clinical Counseling from Denver Seminary. Learning how to walk along-side people in the troubles of this world has been a gift to me. Through my own battles with chronic health issues, PTSD, addiction and abuse, I am continually awed by how God can heal people, even in the midst of a dark world. I have been involved with counseling cross-culturally both for Thrive Ministries and now for Reach Beyond.
